Position: Deckhand

Location: Saluzi Motor Yacht, Italy

About the Position:

Are you passionate about the sea and ready to embark on a thrilling adventure aboard a luxury yacht? Saluzi M/Y is currently seeking enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our deck crew as Deckhands. As a Deckhand, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the yacht's exterior areas, assisting with maintenance tasks, water sports activities, and providing exceptional service to our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with mooring operations, anchoring, and tender operations under the supervision of senior deck crew members.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exterior areas, including decks, hull, and equipment.
• Assist with routine maintenance tasks, including painting, varnishing, and general repairs.
• Participate in safety drills and maintain safety equipment in compliance with maritime regulations.
• Provide exceptional guest service and hospitality, including assisting with water sports activities and shore excursions.
• Stand watch and assist with navigational tasks under the direction of senior deck officers.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working on boats or yachts preferred but not required.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions from senior crew members.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks in a marine environment.
• Basic knowledge of deck operations, safety procedures, and seamanship principles.
• Valid STCW certification, including Basic Safety Training and Proficiency in Designated Security Duties preferred but not required.
